Instructions for Mixing Peptides with Accompanying Sprayers
This page provides step-by-step mixing instructions for your peptide kit. Follow each section carefully and in order for optimal results.
Kit Contents
- (1) Labeled, empty sprayer
- (1) 10 mL sterile vial of 0.9% sodium chloride water
- (1) Lyophilized peptide vial
Preparation
- Remove the plastic lid from the lyophilized peptide vial.
- Remove the seal and unscrew the spray nozzle from the sprayer.
- Remove the white cap from the 0.9% sodium chloride water vial.
- Use clean gloves and a clean work area.
Transferring Liquid
- Using a sterile syringe, withdraw 3 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride water.
- Slowly inject the 3 mL into the peptide vial, aiming the stream against the inner wall.
Mixing
- Gently swirl until the lyophilized material fully dissolves.
- Some compounds may require 15–30 minutes of intermittent swirling.
- Avoid vigorous shaking or foaming.
Refilling the Sprayer
- Withdraw the dissolved solution from the vial using a sterile syringe.
- Transfer the solution into the sprayer.
- Add the remaining sodium chloride water to the sprayer if additional volume is desired.
- Securely screw the sprayer top back on.
Final Step
- Gently mix the sprayer to ensure uniform distribution.
Storage & Stability (Important)
Because this kit uses 0.9% sodium chloride (NON-bacteriostatic):
